Join us at the Ogden Spiritual Seeker Gathering for a thought-provoking discussion on questioning faith from a progressive Christian perspective. Whether you are seeking to deepen your spiritual journey, are recovering from religion, or simply curious about exploring new perspectives on spirituality, this event is open to all.
We know that Mother’s Day can stir up a wide range of emotions: joy, grief, longing, love, or pain. At Ogden Seeker Gathering, we hold space for it all. This week’s gathering won’t focus on Mother’s Day, but instead will center on the many forms of love that surround and sustain us, even when it’s hard to feel them.
Join us as we continue our Reimagining God series with a heartfelt conversation on Divine Love, inspired by Chapter 3 of God Didn’t Make Us to Hate Us by Rev. Lizzie McManus-Dail and Mark 12:29–31.
We’ll explore the idea that love of God, love of neighbor, and love of self form a sacred trinity of connection and that God is present in every kind of love: romantic, platonic, familial, queer, quiet, messy, and bold.
Love is love is love—and God celebrates it all. 🌈
Sometimes we feel God clearly. Other times, despair or distance sets in. In those moments, we may not reach for perfect praise, but we can still love the people right in front of us, and let that love anchor us in hope.
We’ll share a light brunch, practice a Metta (loving-kindness) meditation, and hold space for honest conversation and reflection.
All who come in friendship are welcome, just as you are.
