Let's get the New Year off to a good start. come out and meet new people who like the out doors. the trail is a fairly easy trail less then 5 Kms.

we will meet in Peachland at 6:00 and car pool from there, about 20 minutes to site. Depending on snow we will snow shoe or hike. I will check and let attendees know before hand. Dress warm, layers, bring head light, poles, lawn chair, blanket, snacks, bevies, good attitude, hot dogs or such if you want to roast them, guests are well come but no dogs, these have always been a lot of fun, meet in parking lot on 13 th street in Peachland just off Hy 97 towards lake. check map. FULL MOON.

This is a light intermediate trail that souls take about 2 hours return. It seems there are no pin points whatsoever compared to other hiking groups but I will post directions

With no precipitation in the forecast spikes will not be needed.

Since Mother Nature has not been kind to Telemark this year we will just use spikes. The Pine Forest is rated as easy and a nice little workout.

Take 97 south to Glenrosa Rd Turn right and continue about 7-8 km to the Nordic Centre. Do not park near the road but continue all the way to the last parking lot. We will meet at the chalet and be ready to go at 10 sharp. Despite the conditions the $10 fee is still applicable. They are already below the bottom red line.
