We have done many Rose Valley trails but The Daze of Roses is the very first one done at least 5 years ago. It is relatively easy.
Bring snacks and water and we will have at the top and return the same way. The first half hour is just the long walk to the reservoir. Always carry spikes in case you need them for slippery or muddy sections.
Post hike we can stop by THE LAKESIDER BREWERY for lunch, only 5 mins away. You do not need to imbibe at all but their food is excellent and I encourage you to try it.
