A meetup for engineers, vibe coders, and the curious, working at the bleeding edge of agentic engineering. A casual round table discussion every other Saturday morning, somewhere in Osaka.

- Emerging best practices for shipping with coding agents
- Applying agentic workflows across different domains
- How we're each adapting to the pace of change

Expect a high-level, peer-to-peer discussion. Software development is our main focus, but we want to explore how these patterns play out in other fields too. Come ready to share what you're experimenting with.

Who it's for
Users of AI and agentic coding tools (such as Claude Code, Codex, and similar) in real work, or those who are wanting to learn how they are being used. If you're hands-on or curious about how others are doing it, you'll fit right in.

• Access: Direct access from Exit 14, Sakaisujihommachi Station (Osaka Metro Sakaisuji / Chuo Line). Exit 7 of Hommachi Station on the Midosuji Line might be quicker if you don't mind a short walk.

With the rise of agentic engineering, two things separate software engineers apart; knowledge implementation and communication.

So, join us on Oct 17, where we will be having an event that combines both.

First, community member, Kinbiko, will be presenting about backend system design.

And, then Jason will be giving a talk about how to market yourself.

OKTech Year two networking! 😎

The first year of OKTech has passed, lot's of things have happened, let's celebrate! 🥂

Meet us for non-alcoholic drinks and some light networking at a special venue! Besides meeting interesting people working in the Osaka tech industry, we will also share a little bit of history with you about what happened in the past years, how the logo and homepage came together and we will add some technical notes as well.

Is this a paid event? Yes, 1500yen, but two drinks are included with the price! 🍸 Also, there will be some snacks!

While most of the evening will be talking to our friends we plan to have a few intermissions (Agenda: TBD).

Feel free to bring your international and Japanese friends with you, anyone with an interested in tech is welcome. We would be happy if you could join and celebrate with us our the first official OKTech Meetup!
