Hands of Change

Please join us in service to beautify the Great Mother and the town of Old Bridge, NJ, on Saturday morning, May 18th, from 8:15 am until noon. Ten to 15 hardy volunteers are needed to help pick up roadside litter.

We will assemble at 8:15 am at 144 E. Greystone Road, Old Bridge, NJ 08857. Safety vests, gloves, bags, and "pickers" will be provided, as well as water. Volunteers should wear good shoes and pants to protect from poison ivy and bugs. Also, bring bug spray and sunscreen (and a hat) as desired.

When we're assembled and equipped, we we drive to the start point of the effort, TBD. After completion, we will shuttle volunteers back to the start point to collect the trash and equipment, then return to 144 E. Greystone Rd. Hold harmless for the township is required to be signed for this.

Calling all ancient bards!
Are you a poet, lyricist, song writer?
The Gathering of the Ancient Bards is looking for poets and performers. As part of Ishtarfest, the Gathering of Ancient Bards will be held on Zoom and will consist of a virtual open mic format, however, early signups are encouraged.
While the focus of works presented is Sumerian/Mesopotamian themed poetry, the Goddess approves of any pagan inspired poetry, lyrics, prayers, incantations, and brief songs!
As we don’t believe works should be censored almost anything goes.
The first hour will be Family Friendly.
