“Rest your heart and mind, nourish the soul~ be transported to a place of inner peace and tranquility with this live chanting of beautiful sacred Kirtan.”
Did you know that - Kirtan has its roots in ancient India. The word "Kirtan" comes from the Sanskrit word "kiṛtana," meaning "to praise" or "to glorify." Today, Kirtan is practiced worldwide, often in a non-denominational setting, and is celebrated for it's ability to bring people together, helps lower stress levels, calms the mind, soothes us the soul, and promotes peace, joy, happiness, and spiritual awakening.
The eternal wisdom contained in the ancient yoga texts explain that mantras are spiritual sound vibrations that cleanse and purify one’s consciousness, and mind gradually bringing about spiritual insights and inner happiness. Kirtan is the group practice of call and response chanting of these sacred mantras. Although the practice of Kirtan meditation has been around for countless centuries it’s now becoming increasingly popular all over the world as a means to creating an inner spiritual connection, rest and relax and rejuvenation. We invite you to come and experience Kirtan for yourself:
