Letting the Structure Hold

Many of us learn to move through life by holding things together through effort.

We stay ready.
We take responsibility.
We push through uncertainty or fatigue because it feels necessary — or familiar.
Over time, this strength can become tension.

In this session, we’ll explore what happens when we stop gripping everything ourselves and begin to notice what is already supporting us. What structures, relationships, rhythms, or processes help carry the load? Where does effort serve us — and where might it quietly keep us stuck?

We’ll look at how trust, control, responsibility, and identity shape the way we use our energy. The goal is not to become passive or avoid challenges, but to develop greater awareness of when to apply effort and when to allow support.

As with previous sessions in the Own Your Energy theme, the focus is on recognizing the patterns we live with — and what becomes possible when we see them more clearly.

No prior attendance is required. Whether this is your first time or you’ve been part of earlier sessions, you are welcome to join the conversation.

Integration — Aligning Energy with Choice

Over the past weeks we’ve explored how energy moves through our lives.
Sometimes it feels steady and purposeful. Other times it feels scattered, drained, or stretched too thin by responsibilities, stress, or uncertainty. We’ve talked about what feeds us, what costs us, and when we may be holding more than we need to carry alone.

Awareness doesn’t remove difficulty. Life still brings grief, pressure, and change. But understanding how our energy moves can give us something important: the ability to choose more intentionally where it goes.

In this session we’ll take time to reflect on what we’ve noticed about our own patterns. Where does our effort tend to go? What supports us when things feel heavy? Where do we still have agency, even when circumstances are outside our control?

Through grounding and open conversation, we’ll look at what it might mean to move forward with greater awareness of how we spend the energy we have.
