Josh's AD&D 2nd Ed (Homebrew) Game

Josh's AD&D 2nd Ed (Homebrew) Game

Details

My name is Josh. I am a DM of 20+ years. My fiance, our 2 year old little girl, and I just recently moved to Gig Harbor, into a basement apartment of a large house on the Puget Sound. If you are kid friendly, dog friendly, and are willing to make the trip, we would love to have you join our AD&D 2nd Ed (Homebrew) game. Come and enjoy the beautiful views and relaxing environment of our home and back yard/deck/etc. If you smoke (as I do; green or cigs), please do so outside and do not leave butts on the ground. If you drink, thats fine as well, as long as you are not an angry or wild drinker.
As a DM, I am much more relaxed and open to ideas, loop holes, and creativity, than most other, core rules DMs. I will do my best to work with you and your character background, to help you create a character that you will enjoy playing long term. I am also okay with players having various characters, as long as it doesn't cost me extra effort or time, to help them create them or run them, and as long as only one of said characters is being played per adventure. We have a few in person players so far (2 of which - a couple like ourselves, have a little girl, which they bring to the game). We are fine with you bringing your child, as long as they are not too rambunctious, or you at least keep them out of trouble. The kids can play together, as we adults, game out.
As for the game itself, it does have a lot of additional rules and enhancements, that I have added/modified over the years, and I am unwilling to drop any of them. If you are not willing to accept said rules/enhancements, then you are not a good fit. Please do not attend the gaming sessions, then try to convince me to switch to a different edition of D&D or to switch to a core rules game. Also, please do not attend, only to recruit players for your game.
If you are not going to be able to attend a session, please be courteous, and inform me (the DM) ahead of time; not last minute.
I also have a few players that join us online, over skype & roll20.net. So you must be alright with some players playing in person, and some playing over the computer. I always do my best to make it so that everyone can hear one another, and to make sure that everyone gets equal RP time.
We meet every other Saturday between 3pm and Midnight, but if you cannot arrive on time, or need to leave early, No Problem; just inform me ahead of time if possible.
Our next session is Labor Day weekend, on Saturday as usual. Please contact me asap if you are interested in joining, so we can meet, and discuss your future character. Please also note, that we are currently at the end of a long campaign, and most of the PCs are of epic level already. They are actually attempting to stop Cthulhu (an enemy I never thought I'd be throwing into AD&D, but decided to, due to in game events), so if you don't want to go through the entire character creation process, only to have to do so again when the players decide to make new, 1st level characters, feel free to suggest a high level character of your own, or take on a premade character I have available, until the group decides to start anew. I will give special rewards to new characters when we start at 1st level again, to those that decide to join us and help the adventuring party, in their current campaign.
