Our experts will will provide tips and best practices to help journalists and news producers understand:

• The evolution of digital video production and the future of online news video.

• How to develop a video strategy for each specific social platform (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Snapchat, etc.) and website.

• Compelling storytelling and production techniques that encourage users to share video.

• How best to re-purpose video across multiple digital platforms and how to manage this process when working in a traditional media vs. a digital-only environment.

Our panelists include:

Misty Montano -- Digital Content Producer at KUSA-T (http://www.9news.com/about-us/team-bios/misty-montano/32663068)V. Misty is an Emmy award winning journalist who supports and teaches others to use and develop social media communities. Since 2009, Misty has successfully integrated journalism with social media to provide information where and how people want to get it. She works to create social TV where TV, digital and social all work together to engage journalists with the audience.

Kevin Beaty/Video Producer for Denverite (https://www.denverite.com/author/kevin/). Kevin has developed multimedia projects for a variety of news organizations and websites including Westword, the Estes Park Trail Gazette, and the Society of Environmental Journalists. Kevin currently brings a suite of video production skills that he says adds "a dash of magic" to important stories developed by Denverite, the local news startup with a digital-first mentality.

Aaron Ontiveroz/Director of Emerging Media at the Denver Post. Aaron manages video production for the Denver Post and has pioneered a number of cutting edge video techniques, particularly involving the use of 360 degree video. Aaron is also well-versed in creating workflows that help journalists develop shareable content across a variety of platforms.
