The Greatest of These
·OnlineOnlinen John 13:34-35, Jesus gives his disciples a "new commandment" to love one another exactly as He loved them.
This sacrificial, unconditional love serves as the ultimate, visible proof to the world that they belong to Him.
Breaking Down the Verses
John 13:34 - The Command> "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another."
- Why it's "new": While the Old Testament commanded people to love their neighbors, Jesus sets a radically new standard. The love is no longer measured by our human capacity, but by the perfect, unconditional, and sacrificial example set by Jesus.
- The nature of the love: Jesus demonstrated this love practically—washing the disciples' feet, crossing cultural boundaries, and ultimately laying down his life for friends who would soon fail and betray Him. [1, 2, 3]

What Prayer is Not
·OnlineOnlinePrayer is a deeply misunderstood practice. To understand what it truly is, we must first clear away common misconceptions.
What Prayer Is Not- Not a magic wand: It is not a cosmic vending machine to get whatever you want.
- Not a performance: It is not an empty recital of long, fancy words to impress others [Matt 6:5-7].
- Not a transaction: It is not a negotiation tool to buy God's favor with good behavior.
- Not a monologue: It is not a one-way lecture where you do all the talking.
- Not a last resort: It is not an emergency brake you only pull when your own plans fail. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
