Weekly guided meditation sessions to help you find more calm, joy, and natural ease in your life.
Modern life can leave us stressed, emotionally drained, and weary of the constant noise, demands, and distractions of everyday life — quietly longing for something deeper and more real.
Over time, layers of tension and emotional heaviness can gradually close us down and disconnect us from our natural sense of openness, joy, and ease.
Drawing from the teachings of Open Heart — a yogic spiritual path of awakening and inner freedom for people living ordinary modern lives — these sessions take a grounded and experiential approach to meditation and inner transformation — emphasising direct experience and clear tangible changes through practice, rather than belief or dogma.
This path of practices include open awareness and insight meditation, mantra, breath-work, gentle devotional elements, and subtle energy practices — all used in a grounded and pragmatic way to help work through the layers of inner tension, open the heart, and reconnect us with a deeper sense of presence, warmth, and joyful ease.
Everyone is welcome, whatever your experience. These are regular sessions, held on Sundays and Wednesdays.

Where: Studio above Sleepstore Chester, Sealand Road, CH1 4LS
*Ample parking available at Sleepstore (next to Stokers Furniture). Enter via the stairs to the left of the building. Please aim to arrive 5–15 minutes early so we can begin promptly. Feel free to make yourself a tea and get settled.

About the sessions
Sessions include 50–60 minutes of guided meditation, beginning with a short introduction and followed by time for discussion and questions afterwards.
No previous experience is needed. Guidance will explain everything clearly and walk you through the various simple practices step-by-step.
The sessions include contemplative, devotional, and energetic elements drawn from the teachings of Open Heart, but the emphasis is always on direct experience, openness, and personal exploration rather than belief or dogma. You’re welcome to simply come along, experience the practices for yourself, and see whether they resonate.

Alongside these weekly sessions, we also offer workshops and retreats for those who wish to explore the practices more deeply.
We have chairs and blankets. Wear clothing comfortable enough to meditate in & bring an open mind.
