The Concept of Open Medicine

For this evening I'd like to invite you to an interactive discussion about medical practice in the context of open science. How does the industry work today and what does it mean to make the discipline more personalized and participatory? How do we democratize knowledge and enable people left out of the system? Sharing knowledge is not just a matter of exchanging ideas, but of creating means for material access.

We will discuss examples of open medical practice, whether they're relevant, and how this relates to what a public science laboratory can do. This will be a participatory presentation - I'll propose some ideas, but I'm mostly interested in hearing yours.
