Hi all! I met the cool founders of a new hard-tech work lab up the street on Venables Street at Clark Drive. Since many of us are makers or interested in hard-tech, this series of events they are hosting will be of great interest. Below is the event description and links so you can learn more about the space and events. See you all then!
Note the doors open at 5:30PM and the workshop starts at 6PM.

Event info:
The gap between a great idea and a real product? Knowing how to build it. Come learn the full hardware design process, from schematic to layout, led by an electrical engineer from Microsoft.
As a bonus, you’ll get a chance to design your own smart business card! One that taps to any phone and instantly shares your contact info. No app needed.
Stay after for drinks and connect with Vancouver’s hardware and maker community.

## Before the Event

The session is interactive, so bring your laptop with KiCad installed and come with questions (a mouse is a nice plus too 🐭)

## Session Host

**Odianosen Okojie,** Electrical Engineer @ Microsoft

## Agenda

Doors open at 5:30 PM
Workshop at 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Networking at 8:00 PM

## About Netca

Netca is a co-manufacturing workspace for serious hardware builders in Vancouver. We have access to machinery, tools, and on-site Red Seal machinist. Everything you need to go from idea to physical prototype under one roof.

## About Netca Series

This is the first event in the Netca Series, an ongoing program covering the skills and topics that hardware builders actually need. Upcoming sessions include welding, 3D CAD, embedded coding, metallurgy, mechanical prototyping, and more.
Each event brings together Vancouver's hardware and maker community, whether it's a hands-on session, a talk, or just a reason to connect.
