Speaker Bio
Mr. Aslam Hassan is a Product and strategy leader with 20+ years of experience in Wireless communications industry, seen the evolution of cellular technologies from 2G to 5G while working with companies such as Nortel, Ericsson, AT&T, and recently with Oracle’s communication business unit. He has been involved with various technical, sales, and product marketing roles with these companies and been passionate about public speaking and presentations in front diverse group of people.
He has been in Seattle since last 15 years, moved from Dallas in 2011 where the food scene had been vibrant and been missing good halal restaurants options here in this area. In 2022 finished his EMBA degree from UW, then form a partnership with his 2 close friends and started a franchise of a restaurant name “Port of Peri Peri”. All 3 partners expanded to a second location within a year and now successfully running both locations while managing with their full-time technology-related jobs.
Mr. Imran Mohiuddin is a seasoned executive and accomplished leader, currently serving as a Senior Vice President at Salesforce, where he leads a large organization. With over 23 years of diverse experience, he has worked as a management consultant, executive, and team leader across globally renowned companies including Microsoft, Amazon, and United Healthcare. Having grown up traveling, Imran completed his undergraduate studies in Canada and went on to earn his Master’s degree and MBA from institutions in the New York area.
An entrepreneur at heart, Imran has successfully bootstrapped multiple ventures, including a math tutoring business alongside his wife that has served over 500 students. He also founded a tech startup focused on customized logistics, which he successfully exited in 2010. In addition, he has built an extensive real estate portfolio valued at over $16 million, spanning the United States, Canada, and Dubai.
Imran is deeply passionate about specialty Asian and Mediterranean tea and coffee culture, inspired by his family’s legacy of owning traditional tea and pastry cafés in India. He enjoys connecting with and serving people from diverse cultures and backgrounds. A true Seattleite, he has been part of the Seattle area for over 16 years and is an active member of the Eastside community. He has long been associated with Qamaria as both a friend and advisor and is now an early franchisee, proudly owning the Washington, Seattle territory.
