Blender 2.79 Showcase in Pasadena Meeting Update: The showcase it taking shape. Pasadena Media is co-sponsoring the event for Innovate Pasadena's Connect17 (https://connectpasadena.com/) technology and innovation showcase. Enter Pasadena Media on the El Dorado St. side.
There will be a presentation on innovation in animation and visual effects the first hour and then the blender 2.79 release showcase the second hour.
Pasadena Media is a fantastic resource for those in the San Gabriel Valley and Foothills area. This will be the first among many collaborations with the this meetup group. This is an excellent opportunity to get to know the crew and find out about opportunities to get involved. This is a full service production studio and public broadcast TV station.
I encourage you to come out and see the facilities and enjoy the event during Innovate Pasadena's Connect17 week. We are expecting a turn out of about 50-60 people so this will be a well attended event and a great time to network and connect!
This is the first of many planned volunteer events where you can get involved in a growing movement. Those that volunteer will be building connections that will lead to more production opportunities.
