What we’re about
This is an morning "un-meeting" where entrepreneurs, students and others who are interested in social entrepeneurship can come, hang out, network, and share some stories. We talk about what's going on in Brussels & world concerning social innovation, societal challenges, and more. So why don't you stop by to join us before work?
Talk is cheap, action is everything! this a meetup for people who do.
The format is simple and as follow:
8:00: Hello and greetings
Getting to know each other.
8:10: Current Events
Things in the news that were noteworthy. This could be anything from new project launches to new laws and policies that affect the society, to ideas on best practices for X, where X could be almost anything.
8:30: Open Floor
People can present or ask questions of the group. This included everything from questions about one’s particular startups to general questions. Sometimes people would pitch the group to get feedback.
8:45: Let's act:
After brainstorming, this is the time to start specific social projects and assign the people interested in. A weekly follow-up will follow concerning the on-going projects and people are encouraged to help, share connections and bring people who can make things move forward.
9:00: Meeting ends, but some people stay and continue to network
After hearing who is up to what, people continue individual conversation and stay even up to 10 am
We value the pay-it-foward mentality and openness in our community culture. We feel that our community benefits by sharing knowledge with each other.
