OpenCV meetup at Embedded Vision Summit, 5/2, 7-9 pm

Hey gang. Our next OpenCV meet up will actually be in the south bay at the Santa Clara Convention Center as part of the upcoming Embedded Vision Summit conference on computer vision. We’ll be meeting on Monday, 5/2, from 7-9 pm in Room 210 at the convention center.

It’s a three-day conference and trade show from May 2-4 in Santa Clara covering the practical aspects of computer vision, from embedded to cloud, from deep learning to conventional CV. There will be hands-on workshops on neural networks and Caffe as well as cool talks and interesting product presentations. Please note that admission to the Embedded Vision Summit costs money (though our meet up is free, of course). We’re not affiliated with the Summit, but they were kind enough to make some space available to us, and we know a lot of OpenCV people will be there (including Gary Bradski!), so it seemed like a good thing to work on together.
