Serve lunch at the Compassion Center homeless shelter

This is a wonderful monthly activity that's truly fulfilling! To sign up, text Dee Dee a 501-256-2233 with your full name and email address. At noon on the Friday before we serve lunch, Dee Dee must email info on volunteers to Michelle at the Compassion Center. Therefore, please text Dee by 11:30 on the Friday before we serve lunch, so that your info will be on the roster (which Michelle then gives to their front desk for check-in). We need between 7 and 12 volunteers -- less than 7 isn't enough, and more than 12 is toooo crowded in the kitchen). We help the kitchen staff with a little food prep before lunch is served, then we serve lunch in a cafeteria line from noon-12:30, and then we help a bit with cleanup. Come join in if you can!
