Help at Recycling Event!

If you can help out, just show up at 8:30 at the zoo's east parking lot at the corner of Zoo Dr & Monroe. The city has a quarterly recycling event at the zoo, providing the opportunity for people to drop off electronic waste (old computers, things with lithium batteries etc), plastic bags, glass, other recyclables, and documents for shredding. Volunteers are needed for directing traffic, assisting with unloading of recyclables, and/or sorting materials. If you need to leave earlier than noon, that's okay. This activity is a great way to get involved in local sustainability!
