About us
OpenHack Victoria is a casual meetup for programmers of all experience levels. Whether you're an industry veteran or looking for your first job as a software developer, come join us at OpenHack. We're one of the longest continuously running software meetups in Victoria, having started almost ten years ago. We still meet weekly, providing a place for software developers to hang out, hack on side projects, and meet others in the industry.

OpenHack Cowichan Valley
Craig Street Brew Pub, 25 Craig St, Duncan, BC, CAHi everyone,
Mid-February is a good time to come up for air — early-year plans are in motion, projects are taking shape, and questions are starting to surface.
OpenHack Cowichan Valley is meeting on February 18th for an informal get-together with local tech and software folks. It’s a chance to connect, compare notes, and talk through what you’re working on in a relaxed setting.
What to expect:- Short introductions: what you’re building, learning, or untangling right now
- Open discussion around software development, tools, frameworks, and real-world challenges
- Light refreshments and warm drinks
Whether you’re an experienced developer, early in your career, or simply tech-curious, you’re welcome. There’s no set agenda — just thoughtful conversation with people working in and around technology across the Valley.
If you plan to attend, please RSVP so we have a sense of numbers.
Hope to see you on February 18th.
