OpenOakland - Civic Tech for the Community

Join us for the OpenOakland meetup. This event will bring together professionals, enthusiasts, and experts passionate about utilizing data to drive positive change in Oakland.

This month we will be discussing our for City Camp event and are looking for volunteers to help plan and make it happen. City Camp is an unconference held in City Hall to discuss things related to Oakland: issues, ideas, problems and projects, technical or not, existing or conceptional. This is an opportunity to get involved with our community even if you are not involved in technology.

We will also give updates to our current projects, introduce them to new attendees as necessary, network with others interested in civic tech, provide an opportunity to give back to the community, get experience for your resume or portfolio, and learn.
