Aria Slams - Opera Singers Try Out New Pieces
Asbury First United Methodist Church, 1050 East Avenue, Rochester, NY, USAria Slams is designed to provide an elevated studio class experience for young professional operatic vocalists. For the audience, It's a "peek behind the curtain" to see and hear what it takes to hone the vocal craft. For the singers, it's an opportunity to perform new (to them) repertoire in a low pressure environment.
For a classically trained vocalist, continuous growth and development is critical. Aria Slams provides the tools and community needed to take their artistry to new heights. The event is designed to be a supportive, inspiring environment where these emerging professionals will challenge themselves, make valuable connections, and get prepared for the next step in their career.
This event is free and open to the public. Refreshments served after the performance. More info here.

The Guild has reserved the party room at Tinseltown one hour before showtime so opera goers can meet for coffee and conversation beforehand.
We’ll have light refreshments on hand for all.
