About us
The Shepherd Center of Northern Virginia is a non-denominational but faith-affiliated non-profit celebrating 25 years in the community. We are an organization by, with, and for adults aged 50 and better. We provide free transportation, friendly callers, friendly visitors, and handy helpers (minor home and yard work). We offer caregiver support groups, wellness groups, Tai Chi, lunch and learns, and educational opportunities. We are enjoying laughter, connection, and friendships. We are a small staff powered by dedicated volunteers that give rides, help answer phones, work on committees, write grants, and are heroes in the communities we serve. Join us as we endeavor to create a "world without loneliness".

Steve Gouterman of Paradigm Experts and the original “Appraisal Roadshow”, and Chris Lancette of Orion’s Attic will help you find out the value of your Americana and family heirloom. You may be surprised by what you have!
Items for evaluation are at the appraiser's discretion, and evaluation is not guaranteed for all attendees. Limit one item per person for appraisal review.
Our appraisers will research select items for registered attendees in advance, send an email with pictures of your item and any information to steve@paradigmexperts.com with the subject line: Americana Roadshow.Admission is free, but advance registration is required.
