THU 5/1 5:30PM Ebikes public hearing - OC Parks

EBIKE ALERT
This is the second public forum on this subject. This is the main OC Parks Commission and oversees the Trails Subcommittee that held the last public forum on 4/10.
Please participate if you are interested in getting Class 1 ebikes legalized in OC Parks. It is important for members of our community to show up or send an email.

Attend the OC Parks Commission forum and meeting on Thursday May 1, at 6PM at OC Parks headquarters in Irvine.
Address - OC Parks Headquarters, Mess Hall, First Floor, 13042 Old Myford Road, Irvine, 92602.
Class 1 ebikes is on the discussion list. They will not be making the decision, but this is a chance for the public to weigh in in favor. County Supervisors will make the final decision.
If you want to speak
1/ Get there by 5:30 to sign up for a 3 Minute Slot.
2/ Wear business attire, not bike clothes, they will take you much more seriously.
3/ Introduce yourself and say something briefly about yourself (veteran, business owner)

5/ Give a pitch for why ebikes have affected you (health, more active,)
6/ Thank them for their time
7/ That will cover 3 minutes.
