What we're about

Thank you for checking out our group. After years of being a private club we have now opened up our events - free of charge. Active Singles Adventures has been in Orange County for 27 years now. We used to be Athletic Singles Association but changed our name so as not to intimidate anyone (and because a person didn't need to be "athletic" to enjoy our group). But we are still "ASA" . We continue to organize interesting social and active events so you can come out and meet our travelers and consider coming on one of our trips which we run as Singles in Paradise.

Our typical trip consists of 40 singles. We recently traveled to Peru, Kenya, China, Costa Rica, Tahiti, Panama, Belize, Honduras, Greece, Amsterdam, Belgium, Ireland, Galapagos and other exotic destinations - all with experienced guides and terrific group rates.

Meet fellow adventurous singles near you! Come to our Meetup to meet us, share stories and get first-hand recommendations on new exotic destinations. Find fun, laughs and maybe even a new travel buddy! Check out http://www.singlesinparadise.com for all the details on our trips.

Just $2,450* with 3-nights hotel, 7-night cruise, ground transportation and more! Here's a trip we've now had several times that's been a big hit so we've been asked to repeat it. You will love the ship and the itinerary. We will be cruising the Dalmatian Islands with a new island every day. One thing I really love about the style of this cruise is that the islands are not far away, all the cruising is done in the morning finished typically by early afternoon. Then the ship stays docked and we are free to explore the different islands. Dinner is not included, which I also like, since half the fun of exploring these islands is finding an interesting restaurant and integrating with the locals. You can make your way back to the ship at any time. We will arrive in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia and enjoy a walking tour and just one night before heading to Plitsvice Lakes. This park is INCREDIBLE!! This park is a renowned Croatian landmark. There you will be able to witness the immense beauty of lakes which constitute a National Park. Plitvice Lakes are Croatia’s first contribution to the UNESCO’s List of World Natural Heritage enlisted in 1979 and one of the Europe's most beautiful nature parks situated in the mountainous region of Lika. A total of 16 lakes lying at different altitudes are separated by travertine barriers and linked by foamy waterfalls and cascades. As the geological processes continue, the wonderfully blue lakes and waterfalls are continuously changing. They are absolutely breathtaking! We will spend the next 2 nights in Biograd. It was first mentioned as a Croatia town in the 10th century. Once the town of coronation of Croatian kings, today is a strong and modern tourist center and the seat of the eponymous Riviera. It also makes an excellent base to explore Zadar with it's amazing sea organ, and then on our way to Split, Trogir a wonderful city with 2300 years of tradition. It is a town-museum in the very meaning of the world. Its rich culture developed under the influence of Greeks, Romans and Venetians. Trogir is also listed among UNESCO’s World Cultural Heritage Sites and here you will visit St. Lawrence Cathedral. On October 10th we will board our ship in Split and embark on our 7-night cruise of the Dalmatian Islands. This ship only has 20 cabins and we will be the only passengers. This is the 3rd time we have offered this trip and it's wonderful and especially nice that it's exclusive. Every day it's a new island - Brac, Hvar, Korcula, Mljet and then finally Dubrovnik. Cruise includes: o 8 days - 7 nights charter with crew o Accommodation for maximum number of passengers in two bedded cabins with private facilities o Air-conditioned cabins o Fully equipped cabins (Safe deposit box, hair dryer, LCD TV, cupboard & wardrobe cabinet) o Fuel for max 4 - 5 hours of sailing daily o Seven buffet breakfasts o Three course lunches daily o Captain's dinner with live entertainment o Additional dinner onboard o Welcome cocktail o Tea and coffee all day o Unlimited water from the water dispenser o Olive oil and wine tasting onboard o Daily fresh fruit and snacks o Daily cabin upkeep o Midweek fresh bed linen and towels o Beach towel per person weekly o Free wireless internet access (Wi-Fi) o Air-conditioned dining room with bar area and LCD TV o Lounging sundeck with deck-beds for all passengers o Rear access platform for easy access to/from the sea o Use of hot tub o Porterage For the complete details on this trip go to the official website: http://www.singlesinparadise.com/singlesvacations_croatia2020.htm THIS TRIP IS BEING RUN BY ED REDER FROM SINGLES IN PARADISE GO TO www.singlesinparadise.com for more information on our company CALL[masked] TO SPEAK WITH SOMEONE ABOUT THIS TRIP Click on this link to see photos from our last Croatia trip: https://flickr.com/photos/edreder/albums/72157660398986522

BALI SINGLES VACATION - 51 people now signed up

This will be our 5th trip to Bali and our 4th time to this fabulous hotel. You will love this country, the people, our tours and this hotel. Bali is not only a beautiful place with it’s greenery, gardens, palaces, beaches and terraced rice fields, it is the peaceful people who will win your heart and have been bringing people here for years. It is voted by the readers of all major travel magazines as the most enchanting travel and holiday destination in the whole world. Beautifully dressed women walk proudly through rice fields and forests carrying offerings on their heads to the next temple. Gods and spirits have been an important part of Bali’s daily life for hundreds of years. Gunung Agung – Bali’s holy mountain – is internationally regarded as one of the eight “Chakra” points of the world. There are an abundance of interesting tours and activities to be had on this trip to Bali that will keep each day interesting. Temples, volcanoes, forests with monkeys, snorkeling, river rafting (one of the best!), scuba diving with giant manta rays, ATV's, riding an elephant, experiencing a Balinese dance show, horseback riding on the beach, cruise to nearby Nusa Penida and Nusa Lembongan islands off the South-East coast are just some of the many things to do and see in Bali. All of our tours are great (see link below for more details and the itinerary). Or, just relax, and we’ve got the perfect hotel to do that at and hence the “luxury” part of this headline. We will be staying at the 5-star Intercontinental Hotel on Jimbaran Beach (go to tripadvisor.com to read all the glowing reviews) and offers facilities, pools and services beyond belief. It’s an awesome hotel on the best beach with the best sunsets in all of Bali. Our group have been upgraded to their premium singaraja rooms which include some great benefits including snacks and sandwiches and free flowing beer and wine every day from 5-6 pm! All rooms have a private balcony or terrace with views over the large gardens with lagoons, cascades and ornamental pools. The Marine Sports Centre offers a wonderful choice of water sports, there are three swimming pools, and three outdoor Jacuzzis in the gardens, as well as the health club, Uluwatu Spa One of the other nice things about Bali is it’s inexpensive. You can get a car and driver to take you around for a full day for less than $50! Food, drinks, massages, cool clothes and souvenirs are a bargain! We'll have 9-nights to tour and relax. Cost includes hotel (double occupancy), daily breakfast and all ground transportation. The breakfast here will blow you away. Easily the best of any hotel we have ever stayed at. As of this posting we are still waiting to confirm our air. Check back in the weeks to come. San Ignacio

10-nights with international and domestic air, transfers, daily breakfast - $2,850 This will be our 9th trip to this incredible Central American country and it makes for a wonderful adventurous vacation. We've always sold this trip out and one year had enough interest to run 2 back-to-back trips of 42 people each! The only change we're making to this trip is adding one extra day since we still need more time to enjoy this amazing country. So 5-nights on the mainland and then 5-nights on Ambergris Caye. With this trip we will start off with 5-nights at the San Ignacio Resort Hotel (read more below). This hotel has beautiful rooms and is right in the center of San Ignacio, walking distance to many restaurants which will make our dining, shopping and dancing very convenient. Our group will be completely taking over this hotel which should be a lot of fun. It also features an award winning restaurant. It will be the perfect base for all the adventure tours to be found nearby including an amazing site of Mayan ruins called Xunantunich. This ancient Mayan city rose to prominence and declined between AD 700 to 1000. A well developed site, Xunantunich is on the Belize.com Top Ten Maya Sites of Belize list. This area of Belize, San Ignacio, features 2 of the best optional tours you will ever take in your lifetime. One of those is a tour that will have you floating on an innertube through 7 miles of underground river caves with only your headlamp to light your way. It's a very cool tour that's a ot of fun. There are plenty of guides accompanying us too if you'd like to hang on to one. Click here to check out my video. The other tour is a visit to an incredible cave that's called Actun Tunichil Muknal (ATM for short) which is one of the only caves that has not been looted that has all the original pottery is exactly how it was left hundreds of years ago and even had a skeleton of a child that has been molded to the floor with hundreds of years of calcification! It's a tour you will never forget. Another fun day that we'll organize is a tour called Mountain Pine Reserve. This is an amazing day filled with waterfalls swimming and beautiful scenery. There's also optional tours offered at the hotel including horseback riding, zip lining, canoeing and more. After our 5-days on the mainland it's island time. We’ll fly over to Ambergris Caye in small prop planes for the next 5 nights. This long, slender island is just inside the famous barrier reef with excellent visibility and coral reefs. This is home to some of the best diving in the world such as Lighthouse Atoll and the famous Blue Hole! Click here to check out my video that's had 38,000 views! . Our hotel has a dive shop with nice boats on-site making your dives really convenient. One of the best tours takes us island hopping with a couple of snorkel stops and lunch on a small island called Goff's Caye where we may be the only people there! And one of the best snorkel destinations you'll ever visit is called Hol Chan, just a short boat trip from our hotel that we'll have in our itinerary. INCLUDES: Air from LAX or San Diego - Other gateways are available or deduct $650 with your own air and you will not pay the departure tax. 10-nights hotel accommodations Domestic flights to/ from Ambergris Caye All Ground Transportation Daily breakfast DOES NOT INCLUDE: Departure tax/ fuel surcharge currently at $134 (to be paid with your balance if you are using our air) SINGLE SUPPLEMENT (if you prefer your own room) $750 Click to visit the official web page for this trip: http://www.singlesinparadise.com/singlestrips_belize2020.htm THIS TRIP IS BEING RUN BY ED REDER FROM SINGLES IN PARADISE For more information on our company go to http://www.singlesinparadise.com Call[masked] to speak with someone about this trip
