This is the group for practicing hermetic magicians who are looking for like minded people.
This group is specifically for people who already have a magickal practice and are seeking others of similar skill and interest level.
Topics of discussion may include Qabalah, Hermetic Philosophy, Golden Dawn Magic Rituals, Thelema and associated rituals, Alchemy, Astrology, Tarot, and Chaos Magick.
The Magick of the Order of Free Magickians is rooted in the philosophy of the Kybalion, the hermetic traditions of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, Thelema, Tai-Chi, Raja Yoga, and in Chaos Magick.
This is a Thelemic order, meaning we embrace the law of the Aeon, as received by Aleister Crowley: "Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law".
We are just as interested in Logic as in Mysticism. The objective world is the ultimate holy book and laboratory. Without objective facts and truth there can be no personal growth, only fantasy and delusions. We balance our personal experiences via objective reality.
You are welcome to join providing you can demonstrate a knowledge of the Kybalion by Three Initiates. Further, if you are interested in ceremonial magick, we recommend learning the LBRP (lesser banishing ritual of the pentagram) before learning more advanced practices with us.
This order values freedom for the individual through self practice, self awareness, and self responsibility. You alone are master of your own destiny. It is up to you alone to unravel the mystery of your creation.
Members think for themselves, and are not followers of group-think.
