This will be an active group who want to learn how to pro-actively invest for income and growth. We will discuss various strategies including some passive strategies that are designed for asset growth and protection.
The group will be mainly comprised of self-directed investors and those looking to take a more active approach to their assets. We will share how we invest and the benefits of a multi-time frame approach.
We will focus on learning various investments and trading styles and how they can be applied to everyone’s investments.
We want to focus on education and learning and helping members become more self-empowered in their investments and retirement planning.

Team,
This month we will be covering a strategy requested by many members of the group: The Double Diagonal.
The Double Diagonal is a very interesting options income strategy that combines a call diagonal spread and a put diagonal spread at the same time.
Think of it as being similar to an Iron Condor — but instead of selling and buying options in the same expiration cycle, we use different expirations.
The goal of the strategy is to:- Generate income by collecting time decay (theta) from the short options
- Benefit from a range-bound market
- Use longer-term options as protection
- Create the opportunity to repeatedly sell short-term options against the longer-term positions
At our meeting, we will walk through:
✅ How the strategy is constructed
✅ Selecting strikes and expirations
✅ Managing winners and challenged positions
✅ Adjustments and exits
✅ Practice examples using different setups
The meeting will be held live at the Total Wine conference room and will also be recorded for those who cannot attend.
Time: 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM
After the meeting, everyone is invited to join us for an informal get-together at Miller’s Ale House, located right next door.
This is always a great opportunity to meet other traders, exchange ideas, ask questions, and continue the conversation in a relaxed setting.
