# 🎶 Meet Before We Meet — Virtual Welcome & Introductions

Before we grab our instruments and meet in person, let’s get to know each other from the comfort of home!

This casual Zoom meetup is an opportunity for members of Women Who Play to put faces to names, introduce ourselves, and get comfortable with one another before attending an in-person gathering.

The world can feel a little crazy sometimes, and meeting a group of strangers for the first time can be intimidating. Creating a community where everyone feels safe, comfortable, and welcome is very important to me. This virtual meetup gives us a chance to break the ice in a low-pressure environment first.

🎸 What to expect:

• Introductions and a little about ourselves
• What instrument you play—or would love to learn
• What you're hoping to get out of the group
• Ideas for future meetups, jam sessions, and learning opportunities
• Plenty of casual conversation and probably a few laughs!

No playing required! You don't even need to own an instrument yet. Beginners, experienced musicians, and everyone in between are welcome.
Grab a coffee, tea, wine, or your favorite beverage, get comfy, and come say hello.

There is absolutely no pressure to attend an in-person event afterward. The purpose of this meetup is simply to get acquainted and help everyone feel more comfortable before we start gathering in person.
