(Please read the description below). NOTICE: Due to recent world events and the effects created to public health safety, the manner in which this meetup takes place will be changing. I politely ask that ONLY those who have ATTENDED our meetups IN PERSON at least ONCE within the past YEAR sign up for this online meetup. Being already familiar with the meetups protocol and mannerism it will make transitioning to an online platform easier. "Stay connected but avoid crowds...But keep in mind that over the longer term, this isolation could have negative impacts on many people’s mental health. Cultivating meaningful relationships is a well established but under-appreciated determinant for all health outcomes...This [situation] is not going away in one week, so pace yourself...Great software now makes distance collaboration easier than ever." -FlattenTheCurve The online video chat meeting link will be sent to members who RSVP. Intermediate Japanese Language Study

Orlando

There is only so much that a sanitized, dumbed down, unnatural text will get you, after some time you need to get thrown into the river to show yourself that you can actually swim, even if you have trouble starting. Get a Japanese dictionary, take a deep breath and jump into the water! Reading and listening practice at a more advanced level through manga and anime. This will be at a JLPT N4+ level but if you can comfortably read Hiragana and Katakana you are also welcome. Please RSVP and include any guests that you plan to bring. If you can no longer attend, please remove yourself so anyone who is waitlisted can attend. Call or text me if needed at[masked] If you enjoy the meetup and feel like the group has helped you learn and you want to contribute to the Meetup.com MONTHLY subscription costs, please feel free to DONATE $3, $5 or even $7: Meetup has "retired the Contributions feature" as of Sept/Oct 2019 https://secure.meetup.com/orlandojapanese/contribute/ Please donate via: PayPal pool: https://paypal.me/pools/c/8jtAwJJNBn CashApp: https://cash.app/$Katdelorme Zelle: kitty[masked]@yahoo.com or In Person
