Welcome to the Orlando Japanese Language Meetup.
At this event, we focus on Japanese listening and reading skills. We first listen to an exciting Japanese story. Then, together, we read and translate the material into English. Afterwards, if there is extra time, attendees can ask the group any questions they have about the Japanese or English language.
This event is open to Japanese language learners, English language learners, native Japanese speakers, and native English speakers.
For this event to work as planned, we ask that attendees PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME. Since this event is only 30 minutes!
This event is suggested for the Upper Beginner level. This is defined as being at the JLPT N4 level or above. This includes having a working knowledge of Japanese grammar, the ability to conjugate simple and intermediate forms of grammar, an awareness of polite and impolite speech, and familiarity with particles.
If you don't meet all the requirements but have a hard-working nature and are willing to accept the challenge, then you're welcome to attend.
Remote: See you online! 😄
PLEASE wear headphones, earpieces, headsets, or earbuds during the video calls. We ask you to attend these events in an environment free of noisy distractions and background noise.
