What we’re about
"Orphans club" is a group for adults 30-55 who, for whatever reason, feel they lack company and social support. Perhaps you've relocated and don't know anyone, your family are elsewhere or simply unsupportive, or maybe you're feeling lonely and unsupported for another reason. This is part of life: something we all go through at one stage or another.
Orphans club welcomes everyone, giving participants the opportunity to meet new people and make new connections. The only rules are "be inclusive" and "be nice". Anyone is welcome to talk to anyone, and don't worry about feeling shy: the facilitator will break the ice for you and introduce you around, to the extent you feel comfortable. Our aim is to form a social network providing mutual support to each other, assuming that naturally emerges out of the group.
