### Letâs Improve Our English and Global Perspectives Together â and Take Our Careers to the Next Level!
This event has three main goals:
ã»Deepen your understanding of Japan and the world through English
ã»Develop your own opinions and improve your ability to express them in English
ã»Stay motivated by connecting with others who are also learning English
### Event Schedule
1. Introductions | 5â10 min
Letâs get to know each other by sharing something good that happened recently, why you decided to join, and a little about yourself.
2. News Sharing | 10 min
Each session, weâll pick a news topic that interests us and share an article or video that takes about 5â10 minutes to read or watch.
3. Discussion Time | 30 min
Weâll discuss the news topic in English using a set of prepared questions. The goal is not only to practice English, but also to think more deeply and learn from different perspectives.
### This event is perfect for you if...
âI can handle everyday conversations, but I rarely get a chance to use English in a business or professional setting.â
âI want to improve my English and use it to advance my career.â
âI want to learn more about Japan and the world through English.â
If any of these sound like you, this event is for you!
### About the Organizer
I failed to get selected for a study-abroad program in my third year of university. I tried again in my fourth year and eventually decided to put job hunting aside and spend a year in the U.S. as an exchange student.
Today, I have a TOEIC score of 885 and work in an international environment where I use English every day.
But I still have a lot to learn myself. Thatâs why Iâd love to create a community where we can learn from one another, broaden our perspectives, and improve our English together.
