Sufi Group
Sufi is a Mystic path, and the essence that is at the heart of all religious spirits. It is the ancient wisdom of the heart, and the path of love born from that wisdom. It’s finding the true nature and realization.
This group in a meditative process using different methods, like rhythm, breath, music, dance, voice, sound, poetry, to enter a state of emptiness.
“Zikhr” (Remembrance), an essential Sufi method, will bring us in touch with different layers of our being. Its waves will deepen and expand the different qualities of human consciousness and take us to the silent lake of our being.
Whirling symbolizes and represents man’s unity with the cosmos; it is a movement where we dissolve ourselves with a world that cannot be understood with our mind, it has to be felt with the heart.
This gathering is a process of emptying ourselves, a process, an atmosphere where love and wildness flower into meditation.
We will also explore the beauty of Sufi poetry and music. This Sufi group will be a deep immersion into our inner world, an exploration of the love and wisdom we all carry in our being. A Remembrance of the joyful song, and luminous silence, of existence.

No austerity is needed, no self-torture is needed, but just an experience of your innermost being and you are transported into another plane of existence from the mortal to the immortal. The darkness disappears and there is just eternal light…. It is not that the Dervish dances, God keep dancing in him. About Videha
Osho disciple since 1980. Initiated into the Mevlevi Sufi Order of Konya ( “The Whirling Dervishes” ), Videha integrates the Sufi Path into Osho’s vision and love. For years as a Zazen practitioner, he has traveled and trained in Mongolia, China, Taiwan, Japan, Central Asia, Korea, Tibet, where he received many initiations. He is leading groups, seminars, camps and meditation retreats all over the world since more then 28 years, uniting the path of love and the path of meditation.

Please note - The Sufi sessions gradually build over three days and hence all Three day Participation is required. There is no partial days participation.
Event Contribution -
All Osho Atlanta events are not for profit - "at cost events" jointly organized by Osho Atlanta volunteers. The participation cost is based on projected expenses. The cost includes complete participation and all food.
Individual: $150 + $30 for essential participation material to be provided by Videha total $180
Couple: $250 + $60 for essential participation material to be provided by Videha total $310

Sufi Group will begin at 8:30AM on Friday and End on Sunday 5:00PM
Dress recommendation: Loose clothing. Meditation robes if available. Maroon or white color preferred but not mandatory.
Parking – please park in the cul-de-sac in front of the Venue. If the cul-de-sac is full then park near the pool which is at the entrance of the subdivision. Subdivision name is Champions Run.
Accommodation for out of town guests - There are hotels within reasonable driving distance of venue. There are friends participating in the retreat living near the venue and if participation is confirmed early then they may accept few friends as guests.

- Osho Meditation events may involve Dancing, Active breathing, physical activity. All participants are advised to engage as much as their individual health provide. You should not exceed your own physical limitation.
- The meetups are informal gathering of friends. The gathering is not affiliated to any other organization in USA or abroad.
- The group is a non profit. The groups are not selling any product or service, the group is simply to experience the magic of Osho Meditations.
- Events are organized at individual homes and host takes very good care but in any circumstances host is not liable for any loss or injury. Participants bear all responsibility.
- Occasionally few photos are taken and may be shared on meetup. If you do not like this then please let the organizers know ahead of time. By default the consent is presumed.
- Food is usually arranged by host. The food is Vegetarian but may contain milk.
- Participants should follow general directions like parking, cell phone use etc. All are welcome to all the events but organizers are free to refuse admission to any person they think is not appropriate for the gathering.
