OpenStreetMap's Birthday Celebration (and DRCOG importathon)

Details
We are celebrating OpenStreetMap's 14th year of existence with the continuation of the Denver metro buildings import. For those who want to become trainers, we will actually start arriving around 6 and promptly start a training session at 6:30pm. Then we'll open it up to the public for importing, eating, drinking and socializing.
For the party, starting at 7pm; all are welcome. If you want to help with the import, the workflow requires some familiarity with the JOSM editor. There are plenty of resources to get you started beforehand; such as http://LearnOSM.org
For the import itself, you will want to familiarize yourself with:
- The wiki-page about the import: https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Denver_Planimetrics_Import
- Especially helpful is to read through the Workflow document: https://github.com/geochasm/DRCOG_Buildings - this is still a bit of work in progress, so we'll go through it once or twice together at the beginning of the mapathon.
Most important! Community practice (https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Import/Guidelines) is to use an OSM account designated for imports; this also helps us track progress, users, etc. as well as make sure you have access to the projects. Follow the instructions in the workflow above. Doing so ahead of time will help us get going quicker with the walk-through.
Don't forget to bring: Laptop with working and updated JOSM editor and a mouse is highly recommended.
