Denver Buildings Importathon - Mapillary Co-Hosting!!

Details
OSM-Colorado mappers, the August importathon is can't miss -- this time be prepared to go out in the field! AND its OSM's Birthday Party!!
We are piloting the quality assurance phase of the import project where we do 'on the ground' surveys of the buildings in our data that have missing addresses. Capturing for Mapillary is easy with your phone, but we'll have some GoPros on selfie sticks and bike mounts for the hardware geek inside all of us :D Capturing images from a car is also an option if you're less inclined to go on foot or by bike.
The plan is to take cameras out to capture addresses, and then come back to Improper City to learn the workflow of using those addresses to update The Map with Pic4Review.
3pm - start time, check out a task (map of where you'll be capturing) and equipment
4pm - all mappers in the field
6pm - return to Improper City for the post-capture fun
9pm - finale
If you can't join us for the early start time, we'll be back at Improper City by 6pm. If you arrive between 4-6, ping us on the #colorado Slack Channel to catch up with us in the field.
Don't forget to bring: Laptop with working and updated JOSM editor and a mouse is highly recommended -- we'll still get out laptops when we get back from the field.
It's gonna be good!

Project Background: Fall of 2017 a few skilled OSM-ers in the Denver community worked with the Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG) to prepare an import of Planimetrics building footprints, professionally created from 3” imagery. The goal is to import the over one million buildings in the 9-county metro area of Denver by an organized team of OSMers committed to tackling the project to contribute and validate a series of small bulk uploads. This is where you come in... we want you to be on this team. All mappers are welcome, no matter how much, or little, time you have to help. There's lots of different ways to help for those with varying skills and time. In the quality assurance phase we will be gathering missing addresses to complete our database. Common reasons for missing addresses are apartment buildings, duplexes, condos (etc) - and of course, new construction. License restrictions prevent us from using Google Street to update our database, so we go into the field to capture the data so that it is free to use.
