Massapequa Preserve Trail - 5 mi.

Time to visit the south side of Nassau County at the popular Massapequa Preserve trail.
Total hiking distance is about 5 miles.

We will begin our journey winding our way north on the eastern interior trail. We will skirt past three ponds up to just south of the Southern State Parkway before we return back on the west side trail to our starting point.
PARKING: We will park in the lot closest to the trail entrance about a quarter of a mile east of Broadway just north of the Massapequa train station and south of the Dek Superstars hockey rink. See map

***REMINDER: There is a $5.00 Administrative fee for all unpaid members who attend. Membership fee covers all hikes till February 15th, 2026. This fee helps pay for my event planning and the fees charged to me by Meetup.com.
