Garvies Point Preserve + Morgan Park - Glen Cove - 4.5-5 miles

Trails, unique cemetery, bluffs, beach, parks a little bit of trapsing through some leafy woods and a beautiful view of Hempstead Bay. This trail has it all!

We start in Garvies Point Preserve, visit a unique cemetery and eventually make our way over to the beach and then Morgan Memorial Park before heading back to the parking area.

This is an easy to moderate approximately 4.5 - 5 mi. long.

NOTICE: All attendees to my Mid-Summer thru Winter hiking season are NOT required to pay our semi-annual $5.00 fee to cover my Meetup.com's admin. fees. However, this fee will be due again beginning on February 1st for our Late Winter thru Mid-Summer hiking season.
Of course, generous donations are always greatly appreciated. 🙂

INSTRUCTIONS:
When you arrive, look for Greg4-4.5 mi. I'll be standing near my big red GMC Denali pickup truck holding my sign-in clipboard.

SUGGESTIONS:
For this hike, I recommend dressing warmly in layers and wearing shoes with good treads. If you like, bring water to keep yourself hydrated and a snack to keep yourself energized.
