MLK Jr. Day - Mini Blydenburgh/Bill Richards Park 4 mi. Hike

We're meeting at the dog park parking lot in Blydenburgh County Park. It's located on the left approximately 1 mile north off of Rte. 454 in Hauppauge NY.

We will hike a portion of Blydenburgh south where we will cross the entry road and hike around the lake of the decommissioned Bill Richards park. Then return back to Dog Park parking lot.

This is a relatively easy . hike.

NOTICE: All attendees to my Mid-Summer to Winter hiking season are NOT required to pay our semi-annual $5.00 fee to cover my Meetup.com's admin. fees. However, this fee will be due again beginning on February 1st for our late winter thru mid-summer hiking season.
Of course, generous donations are always greatly appreciated. 🙂

INSTRUCTIONS:
When you arrive, look for Greg4-4.5 mi. I'll be standing near my big red GMC Denali pickup truck holding my sign-in clipboard.

SUGGESTIONS:
For this hike, I recommend dressing warmly in layers and wearing shoes with good treads. If you like, bring water to keep yourself hydrated and a snack to keep yourself energized.
