Edgewood Preserves Hike - Deer Park, NY - 5 mi.(option for +2mi.)
Details
This is will be an easy to moderate 5 mile hike with an option for an additional 2 miles. The trail is a mostly a flat and winding wooded trail with a few small slopes and cavernous foliage along the way. The trail has very few roots or puddles, but a fair amount of "nubs" so watch your step.
IMPORTANT!!!
Unless you are attending as a member's guest, you must RSVP if you want to attend this hike and be a part of our group.
INSTRUCTIONS:
When you arrive, look for Greg. I'll be standing near my big red GMC Sierra pickup truck holding my sign-in clipboard.
SUGGESTIONS: Bring water or snacks if you like. Dress appropriately for the weather.
***REMINDER: There is a $5.00 semi-annual Administrative fee for all unpaid members who attend. Membership fee for our late winter to mid summer season is good till August 15, 2026. This fee covers my preparation, my planning and Meetup.com's exorbitant administration fees.
