Hempstead Lake State Park 3.5-4.0 mi. - Saturday 10am

This hike is pretty basic and would certainly be considered easy. it will be 3.5 to 4 miles depending on if we can I add an additional side Trail on the northwest side of the park.

Parking is is in the main parking lot off Lake Drive. See map Link

When you arrive look for me holding my sign-in clipboard standing near my big red pickup truck.

It looks like the weather will be nice in the mid 70s so dress appropriately. The trail is mostly flat so you can probably get away with not wearing hiking shoes.

New attendees to my mid Summer to Winter hiking season are required to pay a $5.00 semi-annual fee to cover my planning, preparation and Meetup.com's exorbitant fees. This fee will cover you for all future hikes up through February 2027.
Generous donations are also appreciated.
