Garvies Point Preserve + Morgan Park - Glen Cove - 4.5-5 miles

This trail has it all! Trails, unique cemetery, bluffs, beach, parks a little bit of traipsing through some leafy woods and a beautiful view of Hempstead Bay.
We start in Garvies Point Preserve, visit a unique cemetery and eventually make our way over to the beach and then Morgan Memorial Park before heading back to the parking area.
This is an easy to moderate approximately 4.5 - 5 mi. long hike.
NOTICE: All unpaid attendees to my Mid-Summer thru Winter hiking season (August thru February are required to pay our semi-annual $5.00 fee to cover my planning, preparation and Meetup.com's admin. fees.
Generous donations are always greatly appreciated as well. 🙂

INSTRUCTIONS:
When you arrive, look for Greg I'll be standing near my big red GMC Denali pickup truck holding my sign-in clipboard.
SUGGESTIONS:
For this hike, dress appropriately for the weather. Wearing shoes with good treads is recommended. If you like, bring water to keep yourself hydrated and a snack to keep yourself energized.
