What we’re about
We are a compassionate, welcoming community dedicated to mutual support, meaningful connections, and healing from Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and Early Life Adversity. Our vision is to create safe, inclusive spaces across Ottawa—places where individuals can comfortably share their stories, learn from each other, and form lasting friendships through regular face-to-face gatherings.
Why Join?
Community & Connection:
We deeply value the healing power of genuine relationships and supportive communities. By regularly meeting in comfortable, inviting settings (such as local cafés, parks, or the IKEA cafeteria), we embrace the concept of "third spaces"—neutral, accessible places where authentic connection and belonging can naturally flourish.
Shared Resources & Personal Stories:
Together, we openly share valuable resources, practical tools, and inspiring personal experiences to empower each other on our individual healing journeys.
Healing Modalities:
Our group explores various healing approaches, including mindfulness practices, therapeutic strategies, holistic wellness, and responsible, informed discussions surrounding psychedelic-assisted healing.
Safety, Confidentiality & Respect:
We understand that ACEs and early life adversity can be sensitive and personal topics. Our gatherings prioritize compassion, confidentiality, respect, and non-judgment. We are committed to cultivating a safe environment where every individual's boundaries, privacy, and experiences are honored.
Diversity & Inclusion:
Healing Together Ottawa warmly welcomes people from all backgrounds, identities, and stages of healing. We celebrate diversity and recognize that every healing journey is unique. Wherever you are in your journey, you belong here.
