This meetup will help new and first time home buyer & property seller. Our seminar will give you what is needed to quick start the exciting, but complex first-time home buying process. Our team of experienced professionals (real estate broker, mortgage agent) will answer your questions about buying your first home.
These sessions are for education. Our events are generally complementary & we encourage you bringing family members who will be supporting you through the home buying process.

Buying your first home & mistakes to avoid
Solid Rock Realty, 5 Corvus Ct, ON K2E 8C4, Nepean, ON, CAAt this first time Home Buyer Seminar a Real Estate Broker and a Mortgage Agent will discuss:
- The overall purchase process: typical paperwork, conditions & costs.
- Acceptable income levels and other financing requirements.
- Common mistakes to avoid.
- How you can save for your down-payment & improve your credit score.
- Funding your purchase using RRSPs.
- How to get the process started.
The event is ideal for anyone who is looking to learn more about the buying process (for the first time). Even if you are a few months/years out from starting your home search. In addition, we also welcome attendees who already own but want to know more. We aim to educate and bring to your attention some common pitfalls to avoid.
What you can expect: The event will be comprised of short presentations by Real Estate Broker (Ayn MacDonald - Solid Rock Realty) and Mortgage Agent (Rebecca Nickerson - The Mortgage Advisors). Following the presentations, we will answer any questions you might have.
