Rink Hop #2: Sunday Skate at Howard Darwin Arena
Join us for our second skate! Our first skate was at J.A. Dulude Arena, and this time we're hopping over to Howard Darwin Centennial Arena for the Sunday afternoon public skate.
When: Sunday, November 8, meet at 1:45 pm, skate 2 to 2:50 pm
Where: Howard Darwin Centennial Arena, 1765 Merivale Road
We'll meet in the lobby at 1:45 pm, lace up and get on the ice at 2 pm.
All levels are welcome, so don’t worry if you’re still finding your feet on the ice.
What to bring:
- Your own skates
- A helmet (optional but recommended)
- Gloves and a warm layer
Cost:
There’s no fee to join the group. The arena charges its own drop-in fee for public skating (about $6), which you pay at the front desk.
The plan is to try a different indoor rink each meetup until the outdoor rinks and the canal open. If there's an arena you'd like us to visit, drop it in the comments.
Can’t make this one? No worries. More skates are coming, including outdoor rinks and other winter activities once the season kicks in.
See you on the ice!
