Westboro beach SUP and Patio

Let's schedule some mid-week social paddles for the rest of August and enjoy the remaining summer weather on our SUPs.

Meet at Westboro beach with SUP below the patio ready to launch. Aim for 6:30, paddling starts no later than 6:40. The Ottawa river can be windy, but it usually settles down by 7 or so. We will paddle up river, take a break on our SUPs then paddle back and beach our SUPs below the patio as we go for a post-paddle beverage. Plenty of time to catch the fireworks if that's your next stop, or, just hang around for the sunset.

It can be crowded at Westboro beach on a hot day in particular the parking, so try to arrive early. There is parking at two locations, one, right at the new lights, turn into the parking lot off the parkway. Second, is in the neighbourhood in behind Westboro beach at the intersection of Kirchoffer and Lanark, and, the best way to get there is off Churchill from Scott Street.

I acknowledge that the associated risks and dangers of these “Outings” and “Activities” could result in extensive costs, loss of income or other financial consequences, impact my physical and/or mental health, result in serious and life impacting illnesses, serious and life impacting injuries and even death.
