Shirleys BAY Paddle, and Beach Break at Aylmer Island

With Sunday's weather looking good, let's get out on the water and SUP from Shirley's Bay to Aylmer Island, for a beach stop and swim (3km paddle each way).

Boat launch parking area allows for an easy launch. We will have snacks and BBQ afterwards on our return at the picnic area for those interested, I will bring a portable BBQ, bring your chair. Come join us and enjoy more summer weather!

It can get windy on the Ottawa river, and if it's too windy we will alter the route, but either way we will paddle. Aylmer Island is a great sand beach destination for a break, there will be other boats there as it can be popular.

Parking is free at the Shirley's Bay Boat launch and parking lot, at the end of Rifle Road.
