Interested in a fresh take on yoga where you can have the opportunity to lead a class? Dive into the Ottawa Yoga and Social Club. Here, our sessions are uniquely collaborative, letting each member shine as they guide us through their favourite yoga poses.
Yoga, an age-old practice, emphasizes self-improvement, mindfulness, and well-being. We celebrate its rich diversity by incorporating various styles, each influenced by the unique experiences of our members.
Whether you're a beginner looking to learn more, or an experienced yogi wanting to lead a class, you'll find a place here. We pride ourselves on fostering a strong sense of community through our grassroots approach to yoga sessions.

Yoga at Major's Hill Park, then Sunset Viewing at Kìwekì Point
Major's Hill Park, 380 Sussex Dr, The corner of Mackenzie Ave and Murray Street, Ottawa, ON, CA(We also have an Instagram page, if you’d like to follow us on there: @ottawa_yoga_and_social_club)
All you need to bring is a yoga mat or towel, if you would like to use one. We will start off the session with an informal meet and greet while I get setup and everyone gets settled in, followed by a standard yoga session that will last about 50 minutes.
After yoga we'll walk to Kìwekì Point to view the sunset!If you would like to lead the yoga, please let me know. I appreciate it when other members help me out with leading the yoga sessions.

Sometimes we have impromptu hangouts at the park afterwards. Feel free to bring lawn games like bocce ball, or something like a soccer ball or a frisbee to share with others and/or board games - I will endorse such activities (and probably join in on the fun too)! I occasionally bring a frisbee to throw around after yoga.If you would like to lead the yoga, please let me know. I appreciate it when other members help me out with leading the yoga sessions.
