Walking meditation at Sweetwater Wetlands
Come cool off and ground yourself with a sunset walking meditation at the shady Sweetwater Wetlands, a green oasis on the west side of town.
This meetup will be a bit more relaxed than our Friday sessions, so if you’re looking for an easy introduction to meditation and mindfulness and exercise with friends, this would be a good opportunity.
We can meet in front of the parking lot and do a brief grounding meditation before heading off for a loop around the park. The total walk is just over a mile, and we’ll be going at a relaxed pace, focusing on being physically present and soaking in all the sights and sounds. We might even see some wildlife.
Parking at the trailhead is free and there are usually plenty of spots available.
