Shared Saturday - Volunteer at PACC! Pima County Animal Care Center

Each month, join us as we team up with a local nonprofit to lend a hand, lift someone up, and make Tucson a little brighter—together.

This March, we'll partner with PACC! You asked for it and we did it!

We're joining the largest group of lifesavers in Pima County! PACC relies on volunteers who contribute a whopping 88,000+ hours of volunteer service annually. That’s the equivalent of 42 full-time staff members.

Follow the guidelines below for dress and parking. PACC folks will put us to work doing what most needs to be done - mostly likely sorting donations or laundry!

Guidelines:

• The shelter will be open at the time of your event, but they prefer we park in the upper north lot to reserve the main lot for potential adopters. This parking lot is the lot off Silverbell that doesn’t have a rolling gate in front, and has multiple solar panels within.
• Please park here then proceed to the pedestrian gate. Use the code 2&4 then 3 to proceed, and meet your group host under the metal mural located at the front of the shelter
• All participants will need to sign a safety waiver upon arrival. We will devote the first few minutes you are here to do this in person together.
• We have a dress code all participants must follow. This includes closed-toed shoes, a long pant (of any material including leggings/joggers) and a comfortable top. Also recommend a hat if you’re going to be outside
• We always recommend having plenty of water on hand. You are also welcome to bring a cooler to stow drinks and snacks for your team
• There will be one or more group hosts appointed to you that will help facilitate the activities
• Any needed equipment and training will also be provided to you
