We're helping out with this year’s **National Association of Letter Carriers’ Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive! **This is the nation’s largest one-day food drive, helping to fill the shelves of food banks in cities and towns throughout the United States.
Volunteers will help with:
- Collection of food when the mail trucks come in with donations
- Sorting food if station is not to busy
Volunteers can be from 16 - 100 years of age. They should agree that they feel safe and are able to perform essential tasks, including
- Standing for the majority of shift length
- General ability to lift 25-50 lbs from the ground or over the head
- Ability to bend, kneel, push, pull, and walk
