About us

We host free events in Ottawa centered around community, bringing people together, and fostering friendships.🌱 Our events are open to adults of all ages!

Having a community you can go to and friends you can enjoy good times with is super important. However, as you get older, especially once you are out of school, this becomes a lot tricker to achieve (or if you are new to Ottawa). So our mission is to have inclusive spaces open to all adults that serve as a "third place" (aka. your place outside of work and home). These are super friendly, no-barrier-to-entry ($0) hangouts to make new friends and simply have a good time!

These events are open to adults of all ages! While many who come out are in their 20s or 30s, we also have some members that are 40 or above 🙌

** Important: our events are an inclusive space, open to all adults. There is zero tolerance to discrimination against LGBTQIA+ 🏳️‍🌈, any ethnicities, genders, neurodivergent folks, religions, etc. **

You are welcomed on Wednesday, May 13th at 5:30PM for an evening abundant with connection, creativity, and fresh air 🌱
We will be meeting at Hogs Back Park.

This event is completely free, and the heart of it is: community, connection, and great vibes.

Come solo or bring friends, we can't wait to spend the evening with you!

For those without social media, we will be near the Hog's Back Parking Lot. Either at the bistro by the washrooms, or the big field next to the parking lot. In case of lost stragglers, we will be going around to find people.

Event overview:

We will start things off by gathering together for board games and arts/crafts. A relaxed, welcoming space to meet new people, laugh, and release your inner creativity.🎨

Feel free to bring along any art supplies or board games you love, however, no pressure at all, if you are not able to. Most importantly, come as you are.

After we've had some time to connect, anyone who feels like it can head out for a 30-45 minute hike as a group.🥾

And if you're not into hiking, that's not a problem. Since you are more than welcome to stay back and keep the games and creativity flowing through!

We’ll then return and continue on with more games and crafts.

RSVP is optional, but it helps us get an idea of how many people will come out! But there is no actual person limit, we are just limited on Meetup because of the free tier account. So please come on out even if you can't grab a ticket!
